Yup, and sadly even the new one with the E-Class name is actually a C-class coupe, even though they already have a C-Class coupe :/
But really though, a large or midsize luxury coupe would actually do quite well here! In particular, a true 2-door E-class would be great for a road trip!

The back looks like a Mustang Notchback or something. Needs moar rear slope.

That's why. It doesn't work as a coupe if you just shorten it/make it 2 door. You have to change the rear as well. Oh, and I don't think Mercedes has pillars in their coupes, maybe that's what's throwing it off.
